He was born in Yangon, Myanmar in 1979. He received his BE and ME in Electrical Power Engineering from Mandalay Technological University in 2002 and from Yangon Technological University in 2003. He completed his first PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from Yangon Technological University in 2006, and second PhD in Electrical and Information Engineering from Niigata University, Japan in 2018. Since 2006, he has served in academic teaching at Technological Universities in Myanmar. From 2015 to 2018 he conducted research on High Power Microwave Generation in Japan, and got Publications in IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, Journal of Applied Physics, Physics of Plasma, and Plasma and Fusion Research. His research focuses on Pulse Power Generation, and Application Finite Element Method in Electromagnetic Field. He holds a professor position of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering in West Yangon Technological University. He currently serves as a Leader of Electrical Power Engineering Board of Technological University in Myanmar.He is also a member of Myanmar Engineering Society.
