IoT Based Real Time Weather Monitoring System

Weather monitoring system is closely relative to the production, the agricultural field, human life, transportation, and so on. So by using one of the technologies, this system is designed by using Arduino board, GSM module, LCD display, sensors and Internet of Things (IoT). The purpose of this system is to measure and gather the weather data and visualize in real time weather conditions. One of the important applications of the system is to send the alarm message to the defined mobile phone number. The data gathering process is implemented upon Arduino Microcontroller that is programmed using C++ programming language and a set of libraries. Data gathered are stored on web page via the GSM Shield which connects the Arduino to the internet. Furthermore, the weather data can remotely monitor from the PC or mobile phone. The key objective of the system is to monitor in real time weather conditions without manual efforts.
