Design and Implementation of Elevator Control System by using PLC

In modern world, there are various kinds of elevators are used. Elevator control system is the most important factor for efficient performance and maintenance for the present situations. Therefore, the operation and safety of the elevator can be smooth. In this study the main component is Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) for the control and processing application. To control up and down movement of the elevator, permanent magnet AC motor can be used and limit switches are used for positioning of floor. There are two main functions of push button: calling the elevator cabin and operating elevator door. Elevator cabin position is described by using the display unit. Traction elevator is calculated and designed by using OMRON Software. In this study, ladder logic program is used with 34 inputs and 26 outputs for eight story building.
